Syllabus import
If nobody has shared a blueprint for your section, upload the syllabus itself. The app reads the document and pulls out the graded items so you do not have to transcribe them.
How to use it
- From Courses, choose Add a course → Upload a syllabus.
- Drop in the PDF. Most Concordia syllabi are a direct download from Moodle or the department site.
- Watch the extraction: the assessments appear as they are found.
- Review the result, then confirm to add them to the course.
What it extracts
The assessment name, its kind (assignment, quiz, midterm, final, lab, reading, or project), its due date, and its weight as a percentage of the final grade.
It works best on a syllabus with a grade-composition table, which is the standard format for most Concordia courses. A syllabus that describes weighting only in prose will produce a thinner result.
Always check the result
Extraction is automated and it is not perfect. Check the dates and weights before you rely on them: particularly that the weights total 100%. Anything that looks wrong can be edited directly.

Limits
Syllabus uploads are rate-limited on the free plan, with the allowance resetting monthly; your current usage is shown in Settings → Usage. The Semester pass raises the limit. This is a cost control on the processing, not a paywall on the feature: the free allowance covers a normal course load.
