FAQ

Is it affiliated with Concordia University?

No. ConcordiaTracker is an independent project built for Concordia students. It has no connection to the university, and the university does not endorse or supply it.

Does it connect to Moodle?

Yes, one way, and only if you set it up. In Moodle you copy your calendar link (Calendar, then Export, then Get calendar URL) and paste it into Settings → Moodle. From then on, dated Moodle events are pulled into your calendar and checked again every night, and a date your professor moves shows the old and new date side by side. It never needs your Moodle password, and it cannot read your grades or submissions. See Connect Moodle.

Does it connect to eConcordia or my student record?

No. eConcordia has no equivalent calendar link, and there is no connection to your student record or the Student Centre. The app never asks for those credentials. Course information otherwise gets in through a shared outline, a syllabus you upload, or manual entry.

What is in the Community tab?

Events and posts published by Concordia student clubs and organizations. You follow the clubs you care about, add their events to your calendar in one tap, and react to posts. Students do not publish there: only approved organizations do. See Community.

How does my club get listed?

Apply at concordiatracker.com/organizer/apply. You sign in first, answer a few questions, and your organizer dashboard opens straight away. The club stays pending, and nothing reaches students until an administrator approves it. See Setting up your organization.

Which GPA scale does it use?

Concordia’s 4.30 scale. Course percentages are converted to letter grades and grade points, then weighted by credits to produce your GPA. See Grade calculators for the arithmetic, which the app also shows you in full inside each course.

Is it free?

The core is free: unlimited courses, deadline tracking, grade entry, the calendar, Moodle sync, Community, the grade-needed calculator, and 5 syllabus scans a month. The Semester pass adds GPA projection, the calendar feed for Google or Apple, term cost estimates, more themes, more seat watches, and no monthly scan cap. See Plans.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It runs in any modern browser. You can optionally install it as an app on your phone or desktop for a full-screen experience and notifications: your browser will offer this, or you can use Add to Home Screen on iOS.

Can other students see my grades?

No. Grades are private to your account and are never shared, shown to other students, or published anywhere. What can be shared is a course outline: the list of assessments, dates, and weights: and only if you choose to contribute one. See Privacy.

What happens to my data if I stop paying?

Nothing is deleted. Your courses, deadlines, and grades stay exactly as they are; the paid features simply lock again. You keep full access to everything in the free tier.

Is it available in French?

Yes. Choose your language during setup or at any time in Settings → General. The whole interface follows, including dates and the public site.
