Provenance
A deadline is only as good as its source. Rather than presenting every date with equal confidence, ConcordiaTracker labels where each one came from.
The three levels

| Official | From the course syllabus or published by the professor. |
| Confirmed · N | Entered by a student and corroborated by N classmates in the same section. |
| Unverified | Entered once, by one person, with nothing to cross-check against. |
Unverified is not an accusation. It is the honest state of a date that one person typed in: including one you typed in yourself.
Where badges appear
On course pages, in the calendar, and in the assessment editor. Today hides them by default to keep the list calm, showing only a quiet marker on unverified dates; you can turn full badges on in Customize Today.
Peer date corrections
When classmates in your section move a date that you also have: a midterm pushed back a week, say: the app surfaces it as a suggestion showing the raw numbers: how many students changed it, out of how many in the section, and what they changed it to.
Nothing changes automatically. You see “5 of 6 classmates moved this” and decide. A single voice reads as weak on purpose; a clear majority reads as strong. The app never invents a consensus it does not have.
Accepting a correction updates your date and marks it confirmed. Dismissing it leaves your assessment untouched.
