A deadline is only as good as its source. Rather than presenting every date with equal confidence, ConcordiaTracker labels where each one came from.
The three levels
| Badge | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Official | From the course syllabus or published by the professor. |
| Confirmed · N | Entered by a student and corroborated by N classmates in the same section. |
| Unverified | Entered once, by one person, with nothing to cross-check against. |
Unverified is not an accusation. It is the honest state of a date that one person typed in: including one you typed in yourself.
Where badges appear
On course pages, in the calendar, and in the assessment editor. Today hides them by default to keep the list calm, showing only a quiet marker on unverified dates; you can turn full badges on in Customize Today.
When Moodle disagrees
If you have connected Moodle and a Moodle deadline matches an assessment in one of your courses but on a different day, the course shows both dates side by side and you choose which to keep. Nothing changes automatically. See Connect Moodle.
