Pick your programme and this measures your record against the requirements published in Concordia’s undergraduate calendar.
What it counts exactly
Requirement groups that name their courses, like the Computer Science Core or the JMSB Core, are ticked off precisely. Every course shows as done or outstanding, with the credit value the calendar gives it.
What it deliberately does not count
Elective requirements are rules, not lists: "14 credits chosen from Computer Science courses at the 300 level or above, subject to exclusions". Those are shown in the calendar’s own words and counted at zero.
This is on purpose. A tool that guessed at those rules would eventually tell somebody they could graduate when they could not, and that is the most expensive mistake this app could make.
What fills the gap is a figure that is a fact rather than a guess: credits you have passed that no named requirement has claimed. Those almost certainly go toward your electives, and an advisor would start from the same number.
Checking it
Each programme shows the calendar year it was transcribed from and links to the page it came from. Requirements change; the year tells you whether this one has.
Programmes are added by hand, one at a time. If yours is not listed yet, ask and it can be.
