Privacy and your data

A summary in plain language. The Privacy Policy is the binding document.

What other students can see

Your grades are never visible to anyone else. Not to other students, not to professors, not on any profile.

What can become visible, and only by your choice:

• A course outline you contribute as a blueprint: assessments, dates, and weights, with no grades attached.
• Your profile, if you switch it to public. Private is the default, and a private profile does not appear in search.
• Who you follow and who follows you: open to anyone if your profile is public; if it is private, only you and the people you follow back can see those lists. The counts are always shown.
• Your class schedule, only to the people you allow in Settings → Privacy.
• Messages, comments, likes and reposts you send, to the people and clubs involved.

Payment data

Card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored by ConcordiaTracker. We keep a customer reference, your plan, and its status.

Your rights under Law 25

Quebec’s Law 25 gives you the right to access your data, correct it, and have it deleted. Deleting your account from Settings → Account removes it. For a copy of your data or any other request, write to concordiatracker@gmail.com.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not show advertising in the app.
• We never ask for your Moodle, eConcordia or Concordia password, and never connect to your student record. Moodle sync uses only the read-only calendar link you choose to paste in, and it is stored where the app itself cannot read it back.
• Club organizers never see which students viewed, followed or added their events: only totals.
